Dyna CVO fork lock
The fork lock on my 2007 Screaming Eagle Dyna does not lock. Looking with a mirror, it appears that the pin is not lined up on the hole in the tripple clamp. The worst thing is..... the off-set is front to back. Another CVO Dyna at the same dealer also has the same problem. I assume all the Dynas had their tripple clams drilled incorrect. Does anyone know what Harley is doing to fix this problem? It looks like the whole fron end will have to come off, and a new lower triple clamp installed, since the machinest at Hrley obviousley drilled the locking whole in the wrong location.
My fear is I will take the bike in and the dealer will disassemble my front end and it will sit for weeks.

I just live with it. Every once in a while the forks swing around after I've set the key to lock and it pushes the pin out of location. I just pull it back into position with a leather shoe lace and try not to do it again. It's not right to have to do this but I have the same fear of losing my ride for 3 months while they mess around and accomplish almost nothing but damaging my bike. Good luck.
