Check withthe dealer this was a common problem on the 04's, they might warranty them, second thought call more than onedealer to make sure you are getting the straight scoop.
Also check the CVO forum there are a bunch of posts about this issue
Thanks, I talked to the dealership, they said call the Motor Company, called them and they said "tuff beans", but maybe you can get the dealership to submit a "goodwill" claim. Talked to the dealership and "no go"
Just bought a 04 flhtcse - awesome - has anybody had their wheels re-chromed and if so any recommendations on companies

Mark...have you considered taking the bike to another dealer to see if they will work with you on a "good faith" replacement?
Or, have you considered going to an aftermarket wheel, through HogPro? Great people to deal with, and you could change the entire look of the bike with different wheels. Just something to think about rather than pulling the stock wheels and having them re-chromed, as there will be a lot of down time going that route.
BTW...the 04's are great bikes....what color did you get?
