I think each Dealership's area is different with different clients...No HD is cheap but certainly some models are cheaper than others. Our Dealership in Roanoke could not keep the CVOs on the floor...I even sold 2 in probably 12 minutes just talking to potential buyers when I was in the store and both had their bikes bought before I left the store. I think any vehicle has so much bogus costs added to the purchase price that anyone can get 5-10% off the bike and the Dealership still makes money...even if they didn't and broke even they would get $2000 in upgrades within the first month and most dealership won't discount to break even...As my Daddy once said...pay the money and enjoy what you bought because a year from now the price you paid will be insignificant!

WOW! This is an awesome deal...I would have grabbed it and gave the dealer a leather jacket instead of him asking me for one...hehehe.

Was in there today looking the bike over closely. I had the saleman get the service manager to run the VIN to see if this one had any recalls. None whatsoever. The upgraded gaskets were done at the factory because it was built after HD confirmed their problem. I was very happy about that.
They are holding the bike for me while I get my ducks in a row. My wife and I will be going in tomorrow to see if we can work something out with them on taking my old bike and dealing with me on the new one. I'm going to ask them to take my Sportster (est. value is probably $7k) and start with an offer of $23k cash. Im also going to see if they will throw in a store credit for a jacket or some parts. Can't hurt to start here. We'll see where this goes.
LOL...Wouldnt it be funny if they read these forums....
