your not going to find an 09 SERG at any kind of deal price no matter where in the U.S. retail is as good as its going to get. ask your local dealer if they can dealer trade one from somewhere else.

I bought my 09 FLTRSE3 the day after Thanksgiving in bad weather at Worth HD in North Kansas City. Salesman wouldn't tell me the price till we sat down in his office. Came in and said retail was $36,999. I laughed and told him that MSRP was only 30999. He said that was factory suggestion and could sell them for what they want and they had sold one to some dude from from Florida the week before. I said that's the guy from Florida's problem. I'll go back to Wichita where they had one on the floor for msrp. He finally came around after I had been passed around to I don't know how many different managers and said they'd sell it for msrp. I then reminded my nice salesman that the only reason I had driven all the way to KC was because when I called to check inventory and availability that morning, he told me they were having a killer sale that day and I could save alot of money. So I told him I wasn't in any hurry and I might as well buy from my hometown dealer if I wasn't getting any deal. I can get msrp anywhere and we were getting ready to go into winter anyway!

Bottom line, we stayed there for 4 hours hammering each other and I got the bike for $1500 under msrp, no setup fee, and a $300 gift card.

It's really a blast dealing with these dealers when you have the patience and the ability to walk away. I kept telling them I didn't have to buy a bike that day- in fact it was kind of stupid. If they weren't going to give a deal significantly better than I could get at home, then I could wait.

This patience and self control have not always been one of my better qualities--- it has only taken me 48 years to finally develop it. Thank God

By the way, LOVE THE BIKE!!

exactly how i bought mine, (not an SE, just a base model)
went with a buddy, saw an Ultra i liked, did the paperwork,
went in to the finance office, and they added freight & prep
and i got my stuff to walk out.

i said "I have to ride my buddies bike home for him (new rider) so i really don't have a way to get it home, and seems like you want to keep it"

my buddy SURE liked his 08 SE, he put the Rinehart 2-1 on it,
and he had it was OUTRAGEOUS.

he has a highly built Dyna WG, but he said the 110 with a 2-1 is crazy.
