Are all CVO Harleys Screaming Eagles? I ask a Harley guy I know this question. He said someone told him CVO meant one of a kind bikes. I other words there are no two a like. I thought it meant that they are Screaming Eagle bikes. Which is correct?
Thanks

Reason: spelling
Read the Sticky: History of Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO)
They are Custom made Harleys with Screaming Eagle Engines and lots of Chrome.
They are not one of a kind.
They are limited!

Harley-Davidson changed the description of the Screamin' Eagle bikes for 2009. Instead of calling the group of bikes Screamin' Eagles, The group of bikes that are developed by Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO), are now called CVO's. Screamin' Eagle is now regulated to performance parts only. Still select models made in small numbers.
Ok got that part. Now can you buy from Harley a bike that has a Screaming Eagle engine that's not a CVO? Or a regular Harley with that engine? Thanks for the info.

Yes you can. Check out the Screaming Eagle catalog and or the SE Pro catalog, pick out the parts or even complete engines available and have your Harley dealer's shop install the parts, or you do-it-yourself.

Neither one is correct. No, all CVO models are not Screamin Eagles. And CVOs are not "one of a kind". They are Harley's version of a factory custom but there are several thousand made of each model.

Some dealers will add the Screamin Eagle motor kit and pipes to stock bikes before they put them on the showroom floor. They are off the shelf harley parts.
If you are asking if the factory makes any bike with a Screamin Eagle motor other than a CVO--the answer is no. You will need the dealer to do the mods for you or do it yourself.
