I have a 08 FXDE and want to replace pipes and breather. Looking at Samson Street Sweepers and a heavy breather. Does the bike have to be dyno'd when these are replaced or would just a download be enough till a later date when I can do a SERT?
being around real professional techs, i can tell you that dyno results can be worked. tire pressure climate outside, climate in the dyno room, there are lots of variables. i also have d&d 2 into ones on my 08 bones. i have a 103 build with SE performance heads, SERT, 255 cams, and hi volume heavy air breather. somewhere in this site is my dyno run. i pulled 97 hp and 107 tq. the bike runs like a raped ape. the only other mod im thinking about is changing the cam to a 211. this will give better low end torque without sacrificing high end. however the D&D's are not a good match for that cam. so this means the pipes need to be changed as well. i am happy with my build. to all those asking i agree the 103 is a better build than the 110's. on a 103, anything higher than 100 hp and 110 tq has some non harley mods or a dyno that is not calibrating correctly
