I am trying to find out about the proper function of the CVO backrest for a '04 SE EG? The one the dealer just sent me seems backwards to me!!! When inserted into the docking hardware under the main saddle the seat (as currently setup) will bend forward almost until it's flat against the seat, but it won't lean back at all!!! Actually it leans a little forward into my back and it's killing me! Did they assemble it incorrectly at the factory or am I doing something wrong?
Mine isn't anything like that. I ended up getting the Corbin cvo seat for mine though because I didn't like how my butt felt after riding with the stock seat. Your backrest sounds like its messed up.
