Oil Light 2002 SE Road King

Recently the check oil light on my 2002 SE Road king has been coming on at idle. The oil level is more than half way between the add oil and full lines on the stick. When the engine is revved, the light goes off. Should I be concerned? I dont think this is normal. Any help?

I can't help as far as your oil light coming on.
I do know that it isn't because you keep the oil level midway between add and full.
What brand oil filter are you using?

Sounds like an oil pressure problem or your idle is too low. Actually, it's an oil pressure problem either way because if your idle is too low, so is your oil pressure. If your idle hasn't been set lower, you could try a higher flowing oil filter like Wix or Baldwin. If that doesn't fix it, you'd best have it looked at by a professional.
