Cool. I'll be swinging by the local HD shop with the dyno tomorrow to see if I can get an appointment/some time for pre-mod baselines. Don't want to guess how much of an improvement is made, want to see it with my own two eyes. Living at altitude (Alb is 5200 ft) there's likely to be a notable difference from sea level tunes, but the percentage gains should be similar.
OK, I just found a way to make the exhaust on the 07 FXSTSSE. I took off the factory installed mufflers (saved them for possible future use in a box), and installed SE mufflers part number 80496-07. These mufflers are desiged for the 07- Later Fatboy and Deuce, but they bolted right up without having to do any mods.
The nice thing about the SE mufflers above is that the baffles are removable/modifiable to increase the sound to someone's personal preference, and my preference is loud!!
LEGAL DISCLAIMER: Of course, that is only my "preference", and I would never do anything illegal, or against any EPA rule, or otherwise, etc...etc..
I attempted to get the stock mufflers on my 07 FLHTCUSE2 modified but was told that they cannot be done. I have since removed them and installed a set of SE slip on's, ness big sucker AC kit, and re-programmed the ecm with a SERT and canned map for the 1800cc CVO engine. The bike really runs great now and pulls like a horse. I will be installing a tru dual Rinehart exhaust system when available and will be having the bike dynoed for a custom map. I am looking to get at least 110hp out of the motor with 112-115 ft lbs of torque which I think is a reasonable expectation. We will see !!!
Been waiting for scoot to come back from shop as the Idle Control Sensor died last weekend during first "long" ride out of town. Soon as we're reunited I'm taking her down the road to the chassis dyno for some baseline numbers. Will post stock numbers as soon as I get 'em and then will follow up with the post mod numbers.

My mods listed above for my '07 Black and ORange SE ULTRA, THE JESTER, are finally complete:
D & D Fat Cat 2 into 1 Exhaust with their NEW Quiet Baffle
Stage One HIGH-FLOW Air Cleaner Upgrade with K & N Filter
Screamin' Eagle Race Tuner (SERT)
FULL Dyno Tune by an experienced Tuner
RESULTS: SEE NEXT REPLY!! I will post the Dyno results as soon as I pick up the bike as it just was completed today and the weather here was BAD this afternoon
I have on '07 Screamin' Eagle Ultra I have named THE JESTER (the front fiaring looks like a COURT JESTER HAT)!! I just dyno'ed it stock and then after exhaust, A/C and Screamin' Eagle Race Tuner:
DYNO RESULTS (I am told these Dynojet dynos run a lil bit low, BUT the American Rider mag. Borla Dynojet dyno test on a stock SE ULTRA JESTER showed 83 HP stock and 96 ft. lbs. of torque!?!?)
My Bike's STOCK MAX. HP: 76.60?? STOCK MAX. TORQUE FT. LBS: 95.09
AFTER INSTALL OF: D & D FAT CAT QUIET BAFFLE 2 into 1 EXHAUST, STAGE 1 A/C w/ K & N filter, and SERT:
NEW MAX. HP: 93 (@ 5400 RPM) NEW MAX. TORQUE in FT. LBS. @ 3100 RPM: 104
The AWESOME RESULT NUMBER in my opinion was that my SE ULTRA was over 100 ft. lbs of torque from 2400 ALL THE WAY to 4800 RPM, so ya gotta love the low-RPM-end torque #'s of these 2 into 1 pipes!!!!
The Quiet Baffles sound great and I would rate their dB output at about 75% of the D & D Regular Baffle, but I fear the Q.B.'s may hurt performance numbers a little as SKYCUSE2's JESTER made 94 HP and 110 lbs of Torque out of the EXACT same setup as mine BUT WITH THE D & D REGULAR BAFFLES!
The Quiet Baffles are NICE at idle, growly thru the mid-range pulls but still not too loud, and still wail and scream at full throttle.
AND, the best news is that we are going to have 70 degree weather here all weekend in Omaha for LOTS of riding!
ALL OF YOU HAVE A GREAT AND SAFE WEEKEND IN THE WIND!!
AND PLEASE, keep posting YOUR dyno numbers and Modifications!!
