2007 SCREAMIN' EAGLE MODIFICATION THREAD!
I am going to go with the D & D Fat Cat 2:1 just out for the new 2007 line! Testing showed a 20 HP and NICE torque gain on the new 110 motors with the FAT CAT, a SERT and an Air Cleaner upgrade (I only report what Mark, their Tech. Guy, tells me), and Testing showed that the 110 motor did NOT need the Boarzillas or the louder PERFORMANCE BAFFLE.
IN ADDITION, D & D JUST finished the tooling, and are starting to produce, their new QUIET BAFFLE (ONLY $40, and NO POWER LOSS) and you can order their new 2007 double-O2 sensor Fat Cat pipes (Part #502-32B) with this baffle (they say 20% quieter!?) RIGHT NOW. AND, they say they will have them built in around ONE week. The ONLY complaint I have seen on the Fat Cats, was tha they were alittle oud, so I think the QUIET baffle is a GREAT move for them.
I ordered the pipes from Steve at Automotive Machine Supply in Texas (who I found out about on THIS site, 800-210-8675), who is AWESOME and helped me research and verify everything with D & D, and gave me the VERY NICE price of $520 (plus the $40 for the new baffles) for the new '07 Fat Cats.
ONLY BAD NEWS: The falsie/ghost pipe to fill the vacant left side pipe spot and match the '07 Fat Cat Part # will not be made until the end of the year, and maybe later, due to current demand for D & D's product. This is fine with me as I will get to ride the bike for a few months to decide whether or not I can live with a Bagger without the left side pipe!?
My Dealer's tuner wants to go with the SERT (they were doing PCIII's until VERY recently) on the double-oxygen sensor 2007 bikes until Power Commander comes out with their new '07 stuff that will supposedly use the sensors rather than bypassing them (over MY head), and my dealer will match the M & M Cycles price of $367 for the SERT (normally $460), and they have the "ROLL YOUR OWN" Screamin' Eagle Stage 1 A/C setup with a K &N Filter for right at $100 bucks.
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired of riding my JESTER that runs SO GREAT (even stock) and sounds SO BAD!!
I think this would be a good thread for ALL 2007 JESTER owners to detail their upgrades/mods. and their level of happiness with them!?!?! OF COURSE, I will follow up with a detailed report on this new setup after it is all installed on September 28!!
Let your 2007 110 motor Modification report ROLL on here for EVERYONE to see and learn!

HAWG-WIRED (www.hawg-wired.com):
Finished the 4-channel HAWG-WIRED audio upgrade install last night on '07 SE ULTRA, along with completing the detachable tour pak setup on her! I think that makes her the first STRIPPING JESTER (MY nickname for my bike sinc ethe front fairing graphics look like a Court Jester hat). WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW is all I can say on the new sound system!
Make it a GREAT weekend IN THE WIND!!

Good Luck
My problem is that I love the way my stock pipes look, but I hate the way they sound. Someone tells me to take out the baffles, but I have some questions about doing that. What are my options here, if any?

I'm gonna send my stock mufflers to fullsac, since I have two sets of exhaust now......

do a search on this, there are a couple company's that will rework your mufflers. I tried to have this work down at a muffler shop in town. He spent 30 min then gave up. I didn't want to send them out, then wait a few weeks for the return. I bought the SE II slip-on instead. The SE II are still a little quiet for my taste.
Good Luck

Keep us posted on that Marion. Think I'll just get a used set for $250.00 and save $275.00 on SE II muffs and endcaps!!! That is if mine ever comes in and I like the color (blue

Has anyone here done baseline dyno pulls with the stock 07 110 cu in motor yet? Nevermind what the MoCo advertises, I'm really wondering what "actuals" are. Based on the first 900 miles I've ridden I'd say it's significantly better than my well tuned 95 cu in 03 RKC - even stock and EPA de-tuned. But that's seat of the pants evaluation, nothing technical or scientific about it.
I'm waiting for my Rineharts (hearing Nov for the Tru Duals with 02 sensor ports), SE Stg 1 A/C, and SERT install with BMG tune maps and have begun thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea to spring for the dyno time to get a good baseline for BEFORE and AFTER tune setups.
Thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated!
AUDIO:
The Hawg-Wired Audio upgrade is VERY MUCH WORTH IT. 150 watts of power on the 2-channel and 300 watts of power on the 4-channel (all amps fit inside your front fairing) and the speaker upgrades are literally like going from a Yugo to a Bimmer M Series!!
100% PLUS better than than the factory Harmann Kardon Advanced audio system from '06 and '07, and 200% better than the pre'06 systems!!
MOTOR: I will have a dyno run on my D & D Fat Cats, SERT, and Air Clenaer upgrade the END OF NEXT WEEK, and I will post the numbers on here. I had the 95" Big Bore, Cam, Vance & Hine slip-ons and Screamin' Eagle Performance Heads on MY 2003 Road King Classic, and I agree with you that the new '07 SE Ultra is faster STOCK, and should be a beast with the mods you and I plan!!
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
