HD Hand Adj. Shocks on CVO 2011
I would like to hear from any CVO owners about how you like your Hand Adj. shocks that come on SG/RG CVOs. I'm having a tuff time with the one shock being rebound & other compression. That has to put a lot of stress on the swing arm. I know that they have a better swing arm.

Companies have used this technology for years in off-road competition motorcycles but primarily on the forks since off-road bikes have a single shock.
I rode my '11 CVO SG last week for 150 miles and so far, it's the best rear suspension I have used on a Harley, ever.
And, the swingarm is really beefed up compared to my '08 SG.

I just picked up a 2011 FLTRUSE today. I'm 5'6" so I had the CVO Ultra before this lowered with the 1" sorter air shocks. With this Road Glide we replaced the stock air shock with the 'premium' shock which lowers it 3/4 inch. I only had a chance to do about 30 miles today, but my initial impression was no noticable difference from the shorter air shock on the Ultra. I didn't get the chance to get aggressive in some twistys so I really don't know yet how things will feel under load, but for just jumping on after riding the Ultra, things seemed just fine. I had it on the 'low' setting riding solo and 180 lbs.
