need some knowledge
I have a 2001 fxdwg2cvo switchblade,i see no w/shiled available in either of the 06/07 hd accesory catalogs.Does anyone have one of these and have you got a w/shiled on it ??where can i get one.It appears the faring around the headlight is the difference .I went to my local dealer they tell me they have never seen or had one at there shop HMMMMM.
any info or help on this would be appreciated.
also does anyone know how to tell from the vin # what production number i have out of the 1435 that were produced that year
I rigged a Sportster shield with Memphis Shades brackets for mine. Didn't care for it though. I notice that H-D is making a shield for the new Night Rod, which has the same headlight fairing. Might take a look at it. Maybe the Night Rod shield and Dyna hardware. The Night Rod hardware might even work.
There are a couple of options , the P&A shows this one for the Night Rod , or you can just trim one like the one in the pic , which I think looks better
