new shield

I recieved my new freedom shield yesterday (10") witht he 10% tint. Im have 2nd thoughts about having ordered the dark tint one. My concern was night riding so i went with the light grey. I still have to put it on and go for a run. Anyone have any input as the dark tint during the night, compared to the light grey? thanks jeff

A 10" dark at night is not a good idea. You will never see the pot holes in the road well enough to maneuver around.

...............and pulling into the garage at night was a pain.

Recently got a LRS 9" medium tint. I can just see over the top and the medium tint still allows me to see the road at night just as clear as my older clear shield. I couldn't imagine not seeing that much of the road with a dark or opaque tint. IMHO that should be reserved for the 3" Streetglide style windshields. Really like the way the darker windshield sets off the look of the front end tho.
