I usually hang out over in the touring forum but I'm asking these questions for a buddy without internet access:
He has a '11 CVO softail convertible with a 110CI motor.
He took it to an Indy to have V&H big radius pipes and a high flow A/C put on. The Indy sold him on a Thundermax tuner... the problem is the Thundermax isn't available for the '11's yet (in pre-sale mode on their web site). I'm betting the indy had to know this and my buddy is stuck waiting for the Thundermax. Is there another tuner that will work with his bike? I did a little research and I think the SE race tuner with the '11 cable and '11 software package will do the trick, but are there other choices?
Also, where can I find a pinout schematic with wire colors for the TBW for this bike? The indy cut the tbw cable in the bars as he was changing them out for bigger apes and now they can't figure out what gets hooked to what.. I know, I think this indy is questionable as best. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks
I have a TTS Mastertune on my '11 CVO. SE Tuner and Powervision are two other options.
I don't understand the other issue. If he cut the TBW cable he would just splice the wires back together, same color to same color. Although he is probably better off just buying a new TBW module.

I don't think by bud is describing it right. I'm betting he pulled the wires out of the deutsch connector and now can not figure out what goes where...
I have a 2012 and had the same problem. I was looking into a Power Commander Powervision, but they are expensive and are married to the bike after initial hookup. I decided to wait as I could not find any maps for either a stock configuration or with the pipes I was considering. Try trolling www.cvoharley.com. There is a whole subforum dedicated to the softail model.
I'm running the Cobra Fi2000 on my '11 FLTRUSE. Little pricey, $451 on amazon. Read up on it,,no maps to mess with,,plug and play. Took 1/2 hour so to install. Hardest part is getting to the fuel injectors under the tank. You have to unbolt the back of the tank and loosen the front bolts. Raise back about 3". Not much room for man hands. Need to take several runs for it to adjust it's self,,then it works great.
I had an '07 Ultra with SE tuner, forget what it coast, paid $200 to get set on dyno,,got 25 mpg,,had'em set it back to out of box map. Had around $600 and trips to shop, days without bike, with SE tuner. With Fi2000,,don't matter what you change,,it sets it's self.
