Lowering a 2012 FLHXSE

Hi everyone,

Has anyone tried to lower a 2012 FLHXSE? I haev been trying to find a way of getting about 1- 1.5 inches lower. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Going lower in the rear is tough since it already has 12" shocks--any lower and you might run into tire-fender clearance issues. I put the 1" lower Progressive monotubes in the front forks which worked out nicely. Have you tried looking into a lower seat?? I have a Corbin and I sent it back to have a "nose job" as they call it---it lowers the seat and narrows it in the nose so that your legs are not spread as far apart and you can get better footing. Also C&C seats makes lower seat. Or you can send the stock one to mean City Cycles and they can re-work it to be a little lower as well.
