For those of you that may not know, Harley has the 2013 models up on their web site.
Anyway, the 2013, CVO Road King has speakers in the fairing lowers and the saddlebag lids. HD's web site says it has a 200 watt amplifier and an iPod connection in the saddlebag.
I'm thinking it does not have the HK stereo, just the iPod connection.
I could be wrong though. Anyone else got any info on this?
Anyway, my thoughts here, having a motorcycle with a stereo and the hand controls that go along with it, I think the display on the stereo is a necessity in knowing what your doing with the controls, especially when controlling the iPod.
I wonder if there is some kind of a display so you know what the hell your doing with the sound system controls on the handlebars?

Just brought home my 13 Road King CVO.
The audio set up is pretty much as you guys describe.
It wont bother me because I have always just used my I phone plugged in and placed inside my windshield bag. I just always started it and took off never worrying about what was on.
Since you load your favorite songs onto your device, and you know what you loaded, do you have to be able to see the screen ?
Its never bothered me at all.
The nice thing is I have a secure place to store my phone.
I also just purchased the RK CVO here in Australia. The sound system is a big plus for me.....Why. I like listening to music while I ride. I use to ride with the earphones and I Phone in my pocket.....Could never see the next song in order so this new set up is no different.....Well it is....One flick of the switch on the handlebar control and your onto the next song in shuffle mode.....to easy. Volume control on the bars also makes it easy to control when entering suburbia...To easy. Do I love the King..Bloody oath. One complaint.....The seat is crap. After bouncing around on these QLD crap roads for 150km or so....Ya lower back and **** feels the pain....But then again....I use to get that after 100kms on the ol Softy...
