I did bars on my 2010 CVO Street Glide. Depending on what bars you choose, and if you do the work yourself, you are looking about $800. That for me was with Paul Yaffe bars, and complete cable replacements from Magnum Shielding, including a hydraulic clutch line, and new upper and lower brake lines (ABS has upper and lowers). Best money spent on a bike mod so far.

Default cvo bars

I have changed my 2011 cvo bars 3 times.....not something you really want to do once but it'll save you about $700.00 and give you some self satisfaction. You can go up 2 inches in rise and use all your stock cables and wires. So....you are looking at a 10 inch rise bar.

When I bought my 2012 FLHXSE3 I had the dealer swap my Wild One 575 from my 09 street glide to the new bike. They fit perfectly without the need to change out cables or wiring.

Gents: I'm looking for some closer bars for my 2010 CVO also.

When you tell them your set up via their menu selection, they will send you the correct length lines. Good service!
Do they interfere with your GPS?

Dealer installed the touring bars on my 13 & 12 CVO ultra, which I have had on every bike. re-routing of cables & clutch line solved everything. No extra parts to buy. I think they used to call these bars "pull back". Also the catalog says not for CVO. BS. They will work. $500 bars included.

I had the "pull backs" on my 2000 UC and liked them.
A also read where they wouldn't work on the CVO bikes.

I have to do something as I can't stand the OEM bars so it will either be these bars or perhaps the WO 578's.

Well folks, I thought my riding season was over so I topped of the fuel tank and took the antennas and the windshield off of the S/E and put it up on the lift.
For some reason I had a feeling that I may get ONE more ride in so I didn't bother to plug the battery tender to the bike.

I'd been kicking the idea around of getting the bike to the dealer to get the process started for new handlebars and today was THE day.

The weather here today was absolutely unbelieveably sunny and warm and the wife was working from home so it was the perfect opportunity to get the bike to the shop and to have a ride home.

It's somewhere around 75 miles to the dealership (mostly freeway) but it was still a nice, last ride!

After much consideration, and right or wrong, I've decided to go with the WO 578's.

Post some pics when you get the new bars on! I need to change out my bars also! I just don't know what bars to go with. Too expensive to change out not knowing if they will work. Dealer wants $1700 to change them! I'm leaving for the Keys soon & will see after a 500 mile day how bad my neck & back hurt. I'm going to give the stock bars 1 more chance!

I'm tempted to try changing them out myself, just don't know if I want to go thru all that agravation with the internal wired bars!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
