Thanks
Your in Luck, I have the 665 I had purchased for my Limited. So I had the dealership swap it out for me since the 665 is better than the 660 right? Well sorta. First off there is a difference in the cables but the mounting bracket stays the same. The 665 cable has a place for the xm plug. However, the CVO comes standard with the XM module which is integrated in the hand controls and is far superior to the 665 basic controls on the unit. You can purchase the NIM cable for the 665 for the Limited or "other" models but you won't need to on the CVO since it is integrated. The XM sounds better and gets better reception on the module the bike has versus the one that came with the 665. Now the other part is for travel. Use the weather band radio for your bike and it now becomes a non issue. I found on my limited when using the GPS it was difficult to navigate through while riding. So looking for stuff on the GPS is better not done while riding but standing still. The weather band radio does a good job and the apps on my phone do a better job still. Just saying if I had to do it all over again I would have just left the 660 on the bike as I just use the navigation now and nothing else. The bike's xm overides the 665 anyways. If you want to use the 665 in other vehicles with xm then your decision is easily swap the 665. Just remember to take your power xm cable with you.

Great reply, just what I was looking for, and thanks. I did the deed yesterday, before I saw your reply, and ended up with the 660 that came with the bike. I was going to check with their parts guy and make the swap, but he was busy, they were trying to get me to sign papers and all I really wanted to do was get on the road, as it was getting late and it was a long ride back so just as well I guess.
The weather was threatening as we road back, big rain clouds and it looked like we might get a little damp, (forgot to bring rain gear, well actually, my plan was to have them load the bike in the truck and we would drive her home, anyway, plans changed...) I turned on the WX and listened and dodged raindrops, plugged in the zumo at a rest stop halfway back and it seemed to work well for the ride home, just now reading the manual.
I have another question regarding the Bluetooth connection to the phone, if someone calls will I be able to talk and listen through the HK headset hookup? I haven't found any reference to that setup anywhere. It would have been great to be able to communicate with my better half last night as she was driving the truck.

Umm not sure on that one. I finally broke down and bought a full face helmet and it has a BT place int he helmet but will not use it. I figure the HK system will work fine and I will try and BT my phone to GPS and see if it goes through the speakers. Let me know if you can make it happen or not.

I bought a FLHTCUSE8 two weeks ago and I did get all that has been listed previously along with the garage door opener. Note that I am in Canada. No gold key but two sets of ***** and standard keys (electric lock). The XM is in the radio unit and not in the Zumo 660 as mentionned.

So far I am in love...

Not really.....i financed my 2012 V-Rod recently.....1.25% for 5 years....It's WAY more valuable to me to take the cash I would have used to write a check for the bike and keep that money in Apple, IBM, Cisco, etc....

1.25 is a pretty good rate and certainly makes it pay to keep the cash, nice going!
I have the bike now, FLHTCUSE8 ANNV, she's a beautiful ride. I've put 500 miles on her in 3 days and trying hard to break her in right, and get those miles on any time I can.
As far as Bluetooth goes, the only thing I can figure at the moment is that, yes you can Bluetooth to the GPS but it's useless unless your stopped as it works with the GPS speaker not integrated with the HK system, so you can't hear or talk via Harley headset setup.. Now I can't be sure I'm totally right on this as I haven't bothered to spend a lot of time trying to figure it out yet, but I think from other posts I've read thats about the story. But, I did a little searching and found this link it sound interesting and may be a solution, still need to do a little research and see what alternatives there are..

I bought mine on my birthday July 7th. Not brand new, but had 500 miles on it. Had all the bells and whistles but I was bothered by 2 issues. The IPOD didn't work! Took it back to the dealership after diagnosing 90% of the problem myself. The cable in the right saddle bag that links to the soft tabs and handle bar controls dod NOT work. 4 hours of sitting around the dealership waiting on a tech to fix was a PITA. Still didn't fix it today, so I have to go back AGAIN tomorrow. The second issue is the HEAT! The heat that comes off the exhaust of the 110 in scorching! The only solution is to change out the head pipes (where the catalytic converter is located) also involves new header pipes, dyno time and tech time all to have it run the same minus the heat. Has anyone else had this problem? A lot to spend and even more on a bike costing this much. Seems like the corporate "big wigs" would remedy this problem before full production, or offer some sort of retro fit at no cost after what I am sure will surface again and again in future reviews and customer satisfaction surveys. To make it even more of an issue, this is the 110th Anniversary addition which should make a positive statement, rather than comments followed by "but". Nice ride....but. Great sound system....but. Nice power with the 110...but.
Thanks for your comments.

on my 12 CVO, i changed the head pipe and the muffler and added a tuner. All total you have at least another $1000 to $2000 to spend if you want to reduce the heat. Then be prepared for mid 30's gas mileage.
