Default Reducing Reach on Breakout??

Is there anything simple I could do in order to reduce the reach a bit on the handlebars of my breakout? Not a major problem, but would be nice if they were a bit closer.

Maybe risers but the speedo/yacht is mounted to it. You will have to fine one that will work with it.

what about the pullback risers on the new "standard" Breakout, and continuing to use the original bars from the CVO?

I really like that idea. Does anyone know if the Breakout Standard has 1.25" bars? If it does that would probably work and might be a real simple install.

Bars are the same diameter on both bikes. They also change the mounting on the speedo/tach so if you want a different set of risers you can tell your dealer to just order the can for it from the standard Breakout where it is attached to the clamp instead of the riser. They did also just come out with extended reach bars and seat options that will also work.

with the research I have done, it doesn't appear that any of the HD bars are for the CVO, and I checked with my local dealer and they told me the risers for the standard breakout wouldn't work for whatever reason, but I could call another dealer and they could tell me something different. "Eventually" I will just go with an aftermarket set of 10" apes and have my local indy guy do the work. Will be an expensive mod considering the cables would need to be switched out as well.

The risers from the standard Breakout will work but you need to change the speedo can also. I actually spoke to the design engineers when I was at Daytona bike week. They were there in the HD exhibit. They said the dealers probably won't be aware of this because it's not listed as options but told me to tell them to look up the actual part numbers and that would be how to order them.
