Default Intake

Just a quick question as I map out the performance mods for my upcoming 2013 CVO Roadglide. Is the heavy breather adequate if I upgrade the exhaust and the tuner? That's pretty much all I plan to do this year. Still on the fence about what tuner I will use. I have a PCV on my Road King and it's great. Just wondering if the Heavy Breather is good enough or should I replace it with a Big Sucker? Thanks for any input.

The difference is negligible. It's a styling preference. The heavy breather is perfectly fine. No need to buy another one unless you just don't like the breather. I kept mine on because I like it. I have a FM stage 1 in my garage right now.

Perfectly fine!

Unless you want to add lowers w/ doors or speakers. You will
have to add a shorter SE filter.

Without a doubt get a turner fast (the 110's runs too lean from start) get rid of your cat, add some baffles to your scoot and you will be fine.

If you get a chance, you should go over to CVOHarley.com forum. There is a wealth of knowledge that will help you out.

If I could suggest anything other then above. It would be either go to Fulsac or Fuel Moto and get the items that you are planning on upgrading for your new Roadie.

Good Luck w/ your project and Enjoy your new scoot!

Thanks YB, I was planning on something like fullsac headers, and a tuner (of still unknown origin). Was going to contact Fuel Moto about what they offer as I know they do kits and such. I'm not going to be ready to crack the motor yet. I will likely put 15-20 thousand miles on it before I go crazy with engine mods.
