Default Corbin seat

Ordered a new Corbin classic solo with removable pillion seat for my 13 CVO Road King but seem to be having some trouble. It seems the 2 strips running along the back fender is getting in the way of the seat mounting properly. Does anyone know if these should be removed?

The strips are just barely in the way and will proabably have to be removed if you run the Corbin. I had the same seat on my Street Glide and it was pushing the strips back some. They are just stick on. Sold the seat though and didn't have the issue anymore.

They don't have to be removed. I was talking to someone that used some additional washers on the mounting hardware to get the clearance. You might want to try that. With regard to Corbin's customer service, my experience is that there is no such thing.

They needed to be removed in order to get the rubber feet if the seat to sit properly. Speaking of the customer service it seemed that their total staff consisted of 1 girl answering the phone when it was convenient. Was put on hold a total of 5 times before I was able to speak to someone who could help.

I have the same seat and it fit perfect on my FLHXSE3. It's probably the way MOCO mounted the strips differently on every bike!!
