My old bike I used to wash every weekend, meticulously. My new one, I have yet to give it a thorough cleaning myself, the dealer does with every service. I've taken it to the quarter car wash and douched her down, and I've windexed the whole bike a couple times if it's just got dust and water spots. Maybe this year I'll do an actual cleaning/detailing/waxing on her. Then again, maybe not! LOL!

Love the polishing & detailing after getting her clean, hate the washing & scrubbing to get her to that point.

I don't mind it at all. I can't be riding the bike constantly, so when I'm not on it, I like taking 20 minutes and wiping it down. Plus it gives me a chance to check out all the nooks and crannies to make sure no trouble is brewing.

I'm pretty **** about not riding in the rain so fortunately, I never have to wash the bike. I had to do that once with a prior bike...wow that was a pain..

I enjoy washing my bike, and maintaining thing in general. I grew up taking good care of the few possessions I had. It is relaxing to keep things maintained. Work is stressful so menial tasks are a relief.

I give my bike a thorough detailing before Winter. Other than that I just wash it when it is full of bugs or dirty from riding in the rain. I ride 9k miles in a WI riding season, and still have time to clean it. But if you don't like it, and can afford it hire a detailer. Just make sure he knows what he is doing. Anybody can call themselves a detailer.

Bug Slide is another cleaner, I believe Harley makes it and you can get it at Harley dealers. At least around here. It works pretty good.

I usually wipe down the bike after a ride, and it stays pretty good. Will wash it occasionally if it starts getting too dirty or after riding in the rain.

I wash the bike if it gets dirty, otherwise I wipe as needed. Full wash/wipe and polish generally takes about an hour.
Lots of Harley shops carry it but you can also purchase online, bugslide.com. I swear by it and anyone I have turned on to it uses it religiously. Safe riding and good luck.

I am like that. My bike is almost always clean, and I take pride in it and enjoy keeping it that way. It's nice to have a 10-year-old bike that is constantly mistaken for new!

I generally don't do the full water/soap/scrub often (maybe once a month), but keep up with the regular detailing before & after every ride. Once a season I'll take the bags, seat, lowers etc., off the bike and get crazy! There's nothing wrong with waxing the underneath and backside of your hard bags.

I don't have a SE CVO either and I don't HATE cleaning my bike but bugs suck this time of the year and let me know when it needs to be done.

But, if I could afford a SE CVO, I think I'd do it more often.

I wipe the bike down after every ride and hit it with hose maybe 2-3 times a season.
