I found a 09 CVO Silver Road Glide. I paid my 08 off last month and always want the 09 CVo glide. I have seen posts about issues with 110 in this year bike. Its at a dealer so I am guessing it had any recall done. My 08 has been great. Don't want to buy a money pit. Thx in advance Dave
MOST of the problems with the 110" motors were in the 2007, 2008 model years.
However, The same problems from 2009 and on, are the same problems that are happening on the 96" or 103" motors.
Keep in mind that the 2009 CVO Screaming Eagle models were the LAST year of the CVO's being hand built by a 2-4 person team!
The only problems that I have have had were rear tire wear, (those first new tires problems) brake switch recall, original seats not reaching the console, (really didn't matter after getting aftermarket seats).
The Screaming Eagle Compensator and starter clutch were the only really big problems that I have had with my scoot, but no problem for me because of the ESP.
NOW, if any problems that I am concerned about are the cheap, noisy lifters.
The 110's are known to have problems with these and usually show problems around 25k or 30k miles. Mine are louder then normal, but once again ESP will take care of them!
However all the above problems that I have seen are pretty much the same issues that folks with the 96" or 103" motors.
Other then that stated above, my scoot is a real joy and I still have a grin on my face EVERY time I saddle up and ride since owning this beast!!!!
My CVO Screaming Eagle Road Glide must been built on a Wednesday, because everything is all good!
BTW, the Yellow ones are the rarest color and also the "Fastest color" of the 3 colors!!!
A ridding buddy has a silver 09SERG. He has over 40,000 miles on it and has not had any major problems with it. He rides it like he stole it. Buy it and enjoy.

Same here - paid it off and moved from an 08 to a 2010 SESG and couldn't be happier. I was very pleased with the improved performance of the 110 and amazed at how much better the bike handles. Go for it

I am not a big fan of the SG... But I saw that 2010 cvo SG in NJ about a week ago. And I have been thinking about how nice it looked. But 30k is just a lil more than I want to spend. 09 RG cvo can be had for about 26k and most have a tour pack. Good luck with the SG that paint is impressive
