Bike went into limp mode when cold!!
2 different times this week my 08 CVO Ultra went into limp mode when starting for the first time that day. I also noticed that last week when I ran it to the fuel light coming on, it did not want to reset the light even after restarting it.
I also noticed that the oil pressure guage dropped when riding even though my oil level is fine. I check it every few days as well as the rest of the bike while wiping it down after a ride when it cools.
I am wondering if when the ECM wire shot craps a few weeks ago and left me and the OL stranded then took it back to the dealer I bought it from fixed it, I should have had the computer cleared and remapped while it was there? Any ideas? I have disconnected the battery to reboot/reset the computer and it didn't matter.
