Default handlebars

Have a 2014 CVO Road King. Absolutely need taller bars as I am 6'4". I don't want to go too tall and have my hands above my shoulders. Can't decide between 12" and 14" apes. I realize that this will be very specific from person to person. .. Just mainly wanting to see if anyone is in similar situation.

Thanx!

I have 12" bars and they fit me perfect at 6' tall. At your height you may be able to go with the 14" bars and be fine. The 12" bars put the grips at about shoulder height for me. I would not go lower than 12" bars.

At your height, I would recommend 14". I am 6' and have 14" on my Ultra and the grips are just below shoulder height. SJ Ron

I'm 6'-2" and went with 14" and its about right for upright riding. When I go up on the highway pegs I think 16" would have been better when I lean back on the backrest, as I have to reach forward a bit to fully grip the handle bars, or crunch up on the gas tank slightly.
