Local North Texas dealer mention a 3K adder in a conversation on Saturday.
Kind of in the market but hearing that said took me right out..

Local dealer got a red CVO RGU in late last week. Thats one nice looking bike. Thought I was interested in the CVO Limiteds but not crazy about the colors. May have to think about changing to the RGU is better half goes along with it.

 

ReJust like in the 90's when they added the mark up. The stealers thought they were on cloud 9. And they started to close up shop after that. I still never forgot and will never where a hd shirt till this day

 

Yes I have seen the CVO Streetglide, I have not seen the black unit but have seen the Hard Candy Mercury as they Call it..an awesome bike. It has me at this point ordering or dealer trading a '14 SGS for one..

 

I saw a Black FLHXSE last Thursday come off the demo truck in north Texas. It was dirty being a demo bike so it was hard to tell much about that color combo. It appears the Blue and the Yellow ones are hitting most dealers first. I have a deposit down on one and I'm thinking Mercury Hard Candy as well, but I have another person ahead of me and if he chooses same color, I suspect it will be hard to get. Can't imagine that dealers would be willing to dealer trade.

I keep riding my 07 FLHX and trying to tell myself to be patient :-).

I refuse to pay a dealer markup on top of MSRP. HD and the dealers make a nice profit on that price. By the end of the model year you'll be able to find a bike $3K under MSRP.
