I have been a firm believer in: Why would anyone want to spend that kind of money up front for a CVO? Spend 10k less and personalize it the way you want it.
I was Full Of ****. Although my 09 ElectraGlide was beautiful by the time I got done with my personalization. I just traded it in for a 15 CVO Limited. There are gadgets on this bike you cannot get out of the Catalog.
Day 2 of riding it. I Love it.
Don't really need to explain anything to your riding buddies, except, remind them they are Drooling

I was never a CVO hater, but I did think the cost was astronomical for a motorcycle. I've wanted a harley for years but always settled for something else. I've had two Goldwings over the years and they were great. Only downside was that they never had that Harley look and feel that people just love. My wife pushed me into the CVO and I'm glad she did. No regrets.
I have to admit, when people ask me what it cost I'm a bit embarrassed to say I spent $41k on a motorcycle (my out the door price). That said, when they give me crap I just tell them it's only money and you can't take it with you!
