Looking for a stock rear fender. Anyone know or help. Thx
Are you starting a restoration on a 1972FX ? Keep in mind that the first three months of production, the 1972FX's came stock with the boattail rear fender and the metal rear fender was an option. After the three months the metal rear fender was a stock item and the boattail became an option.

I am going with the metai fender.. Doing a stock rebuild for the most part, going towards an early 70's chopper style... I don't think my bike is a boat tail fender bike but who knows...

Where are ya located...Canada is a fairly large area.
I have a stock '74 that has had a Bad Life...perfect for mods including shortening...

Contact the historian at the HD plant. Give him your vin number, he'll tell you the exact date your scooter was fully assembled. Also ask if it was within the first 3 month of production.
