Missing 25a should not be that big a deal..Does the front of the seat move around a bit without it? Seems like the "tray" would hold it captive.
I can remove the seat and get dimensions for ya...In awhile, I need to remove the Tour Pack too because the rear mounting bolt for the seat don't have a Captive nut. Gotta fish 2 Wrenches in there!!
no, it doesn't seem to wobble much, the 2 rear grab handle bolts keep it pretty snug. I took my tourpak off last time I was troubleshooting blinkers as I added a Badlands module. I used to have to hold the turn switch to keep blinking, wanted to be able to bump the switch and have them continue blinking. Now I want to make the tourpak quick disconnect, and remove the OEM rear luggage rack.
I like the old Luggage rack...so Leaving mine Bolted down...
The Spring steel "bracket" is holding the Tray down..two screws 1/4 inch I think.
The Bracket [25A] measures 2 in wide by 2-1/2 long. The Offset is 1 Inch where the 2 screws go and 1-1/2 inch of raised portion..
I can get a Pic if needed...
Edit; The offset is about a 1/4 of an inch, Higher to rear of course.
