Default Optimal Jets Super E

What is everyone using for jets that own Super E carbs? My 74 FLH, is bored .010 over. Solid lifters, S&S Super E with Yost 1 inch Spacer and Power tube. For basically a stock 1200, what is everyone using for main and intermediate jets? I have a bag full that came with the new carb. I know it can be trial and error but what is a good baseline to start at for a 1200?

.68 Main & .29.5 Intermediate is where I'd start.

Stiggy thanks. I took it out for a ride..starts good and idles nice. I did though do something I once read something about. At 50 mph, I pulled the enritcher valve on. Nothing happened...no bog, nothing. Somewhere I read if you did that and nothing happened the jets were wrong. But I cant find the explanation as too exactly what that meant when nothing happens with the valve pulled up and if I have too large or too small jets

On a basically stock '88 FLSTC I run a 70 on the main and 295 on the intermediate and get good results. Think with what you have going, the 68/295 wouls be a good start as suggested.

I would assume that if the enrichener didn't bog it then that might indicate that she can take more fuel? I've never heard of that test but if true you could kick it up one jet size on the intermediate and try it.

(People tend to over-jet these things too often IMO.)

I would replace the intermediate first, ride it, and then do the main (its just that center plug in order to get to the main.)

That way you'll know what jet changed what parameter.

With the .295 intermediate and 70 main, it really doesn't seem to have much of anything right now. Should I go up or down on the main?

The tuning instructions on S&S's website are very good. Go there and read.
