I have a 1982 FLT Tour Glide and the fuel gauge reads full when ignition switch is off then reads empty when ignition switch is on whether its full or not. Please help
Did it just start this, and was working before...or has there been work done to the bike? Normally a fuel gauge will only read full when it has power going to it...which make no sense with the ignition off... more history on the bike please.
Yes it was working before it just started after the stereo was installed and alarm system but I don't know how that would affect it because I ran all new wireing to the battery separate from everything else

Just a guess here...But, Double check the Wiring??
