Sounds like you "bottomed" out the adjuster, you are not supposed to do that. Start again by backing it out and then just turn it in till you feel "resistance". Then back it out your 1/2 turn.

Well I finally got a chance to figure out the clutch issue, took off primary cover, the clutch was turning but not engaging the motor, backed off the bolt 6 full turns locked it down, the clutch worked perfect. Motor fired right up. Thinking maybe aftermarket clutch because it has a belt drive primary.?
