Guaranteed those are 35mm.....
and Have been positively Identified...
35mm.. 39 are totally different.
Shovelhead 35mm for sure, not EVO.
84 Evo 35mm forks use different sliders, calipers and the speedo sender is on the other side
I have seen those tube caps before, but cannot remember where
Unless they are 1983 FXRT forks with antidive air system that has been removed and capped

Or...I have a Set of caps that I drilled and tapped for air assist...An ill-advised experiment! Yes the FXRT and some other one I don't recall came that way.
BTW '84 Shovel Front ends are just like the EVO ones...Single Disk left side. and still 35mm.
That particular front end above is Unique to the late '70's early '80's Superglide [except FXWG of course] and Sportster.

Well, yeah.. saying shovel I "assumed" up to 83 and didn't think about the 84 shovels that had the "new" 35mm like the EVOs
So let's just say pre '84 35mm
I will see about newest, best pads to run. John Z maybe right about fewer and fewer vendors selling pads for them.
The dual small diameter discs hopefully will be better than the standard Evo era single disc, single put stopper that I currently have. Problem is the bike is a hefty 1995 softail. We shall see.
Thx,
Tom

Not been my Experience...
In the Harley world it seems the Newer the Brakes, the better they work...
But I only know anything about up to 2000 or so...
Larger diameter rotors have a mechanical advantage and exert better "leverage" ... FWIW
Explains why the Duals were not a tremendous Upgrade from the Pie slice caliper with the big ole rotor..
Sitting here thinking...Look at a Softail Springer! Amazing that little Caliper can stop that Tank....

Exactly right, I have a bdl/Gma two pot caliper on there now for a stopper on the springer.
As already said, need some measurements.
neckpost, stops, trees, tubes, legs.
Looks HD, but could even be off something else.
Some were similar.
Please post with measurements,
and someone if not me will do some checking on it,
If you want.
