Cowpie trans tip
If not already widely known,
to help with positive shifts and fewer false neutrals:
The cowpie has a pawlcarrier shift mechanism,
very much like the sportster.
The spring between the plates, 'pawls',
replace with the stronger -52 sportster part number(s).
Just my opinion and thoughts,
though proven, I have no idea if it works.
Try at own risk.

My Cowpie has yet to give me problems...
Course I only had it since '84!!!!
I can Guarantee that a "DirtBike" kinda guy will indeed have problems tho...Watch how they treat the Shifter!!! Stomp or Nudge...your choice.

they do skip when the selector race is worn from the bushing /// and no harley part is available only china to fix it - sporty selector is different but i will look at that idea it might be or not
