I'm new to this forum. I have my brother's 69 FLH chopper whichwe've taken on many long rides in the last28 years. I've gone through several bikes during that timebut he always kept and rode this one. It has high sentimental value to me so when he finally broke down and got an Ultra, I bought his old one rather than see it go down the road. I'm thinking of restoring it backto 100% stock showroom condition. What would you do?
I've got a 68 flh, just restored it all the way. All but the seat. Lot of time and hunting parts, but it sure turns some heads. Wouldn't have it any other way........If the bike hasn't been gone through in awhile, (shocks, front tubes, bushings, etc.) think you would enjoy the bike more.....just my thought. Good luck.
