She will go to Shenandoah Harley on Monday, see what I can find out on history from them and keep my fingers crossed it was put away well.

Why take it to the dealership? Get a service and parts manual. You can do the basics yourself. Lots of folks here willing to help.
Barring that find a good Indie you can trust, really trust that knows old iron.

Come on!!!!!!!!! Someone help this member out. He's got a way cool machine that is very close to corrector. Dealer can't do squat for him.
Damn...wish you were West Coast. We would have it up on my lift table and have it checked out in quick time. You have a very nice piece of history there.
Not sure what you paid for it but Genny Shovels have their own unique market. Adding a hack increases value. Out here on the West Coast you have a 12K piece of history.
