mmm... not sure.... but you would need an evo softail inner primary and starter, and with that I believe evo transmission and guts. Lots of work and parts involved

oh boy..... 2 ways to get there with a shovel, one involves dropping some serious change on an complete kit open belt system with a starter and I suggest this one.

The other means a lot of hacking & cutting up of primary cases & covers as with the old shovel style starter you have to have the inner rear section where that bolts to the trans that supports the starter itself plus the solenoid in the picture and the top rear half of the outer cover with the bendix shaft support bearing in it.

While the hillbilly route works it and can be made to look ok it weakens hell out of whats left and the cut up cast parts start cracking & breaking over time.

BDL and Primo both offer complete kits that use the 90-up starter...bolt on and go.

You want to get a kit that has a motor plate...a lot of the cheaper kits don't have one and are not as strong.

Plan to spend $1500 to $2000...depending on the finish you want...look close at kits that are cheaper...they don't include the starter.
