Default I Need a Book!
Can anyone help me chase down repair and parts books for an 81 FXS. Appreciate any input. Tempted to get a Clymer, but I know better.

shovel pat...the HD part # for the Part catalog FX Models 1971-1984 is #99455-83B; the part# for the Service Manual FL/FX 1200/1340cc 4-Speed 19781/2-1984 is #99482-84. Not sure how much MoCo wants for them. Had mine about 20 years. Therz a couple of websites that deal with reprocduction of some of the older service/parts manual. I'll look them up and if I see them I will add a post.

Good call...stay away frome Clymers

wreck...just my opinion. Anyone who work on bikes has their likes and dislikes when it comes to books, vendors and the like, and after 41 years of riding and wrenchingI definitely have mine. Peace...
