Default installing compensating sprocket nut

can you tell me the the touque specs when installing the compensating sprocket nut on a 76 fxe; also do I need to put lock tight on it,

I used blue lock tight and torqued the nut to 90 ft/lbs on my 75 flh. Since the bike was in various stages of disassembly, I used a shop rag wedged between the chain and sprocket to lock the assembly while I torqued the nut.
