Default compensator nut

have .090 side to side movement on shaft, thought maybe I needed to shim it, found last 10 or so threads in nut were full of locktite and nut was not going in all the way, per manual used straight edge and sprockets line up.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; My question is, when I put nut pack on and toeque it down, 150#, should everything be snugged together, nut/retainer/sliding cam/ compensator or is a little side to side acceptable&nbsp\\;?&nbsp\\; Thanks

I have cleaned the threads but the nut seems to bottom out befor it tightens things up, probably a good .060 side to side, this is on a '90 fltc, I have read a lot of threads on the compensator nut, one thread talked about milling some off the screw end of the nut so as to tighten it up to specs, sounds feasable to me. Anyone, anyone
