Call the HD Museum (800# on website) and tell them you would like to do a VIN# check. I had a guy on the phone with me for over 30 minutes gave me all the productions dates, shipping dates, dealership etc for my Shovel. Time well spent.

Called HD HQ. Talked to a guy there,he looked up my VIN on Microfiche. Gave me the month,day and year my bike was built.
