Default 1980 fxs start problems

I recently bought a shovelhead without an ignition or carb set up. I put a new points set up new plugs, wires, and a new mikuni 38mm vm on it. It has Andrews b2 and converted to solid lifters with a lsr 2 into 1 on it. It’s a kick only. After kicking and kicking and kicking I finally said f it and pull started it. It ran great once I got it going but would only run with the enrichner on while giving it throttle to keep the rpms up. Plugs after that we’re obviously baked black from choking it like that. Replaced plugs and have adjusted the air screw with only a couple kicks of hopes and one start and die kick over. Exhausted I don’t know what to do anymore. Pushrods are adjusted great ignition is static timed great and no intake leaks.

Open the throttle squirt a little fuel in there and kick it over.. if it starts tare apart the carb and find what's plugged or get an S$S Super E... They work so much better....
