For that matter, if you're not using the footboards, all of the brackets, shift linkage, master cylinder setup off any FL shovelhead will work also.
So confirming, the forward controls from a '86-'99 FL soft tail have the same mounting bolt pattern as the front lower frame brackets on my '75 FXE, and are a direct bolt-on without modification?
not only that but the softail stuff has a 2 inch add on you can buy - so being tall like you are your legs are out and way more comfy riding location for us tall guys
I have them on my FLST with floor boards but will work with pegs as well
