LOL... This really did make me laugh... My FXR is the Newest bike I own... Well.. the Bitter Half does have a new Indian... So that Prolly Counts.
I have Noticed that the Young guys are Seeking out, Ironheads, and to a lesser Extent... stuff like FXR's.. they seem to Prefer Dyna's for Price, and Parts availability... around here anyway!!!

i actually think he might have....i have close to a whole single car garage full of extra parts pieces and stock stuff too....it just had to dig thru because of the memories...but ive always been into the older bikes because it is much simpler than todays bs extras and addons
Never tried to get an Old style throwout to work in an FXR...I have my Doubts, because the pushrod is Different!!!
Also.. I have had poor luck with the "new" bell type throwout... Finding the bearing in it inferior to the O.E. wafer bearing [newer style]...
