hello, I´m working in the top of my 1979 flh, the bike was imported from USA two years ago, and I think along his life will be repaired and modified many times, I try to identify this pistons, don´t appears marks of any type in this, and I want to fit the correct type in it
It´s a weird to locate parts for it, I think it,s the early 79 type
any sugestion will be apreciated
my first thought was ross but they could be wiseco pistons - it looks to be a forged blank and at lest 9 1/2 to 1 or a little bit more 9 3/4 maybe
we use the Midusa brand of pistons in the shop 8 1/2 to 1 and they are cast set at .003 piston to wall - have 100s of sets out and about with no issues - forged need at least .004 or 005 and tend to rattle cold - its all about if you can buy on the road good fuel
