Hey guys, thanks for all the great advice. I wound up using about a half dozen utility knife blades. I took a hard plastic mallet and very carefully tapped them in as straight as possible. Once I broke the seal around the upper half of the primary cover, I took a wooden shim and was able to get it between the inner primary and the outer primary and started tapping. This popped it off. The inner primary and outer primary came out Unscratched. And so the winter tear down begins. Thanks guys!
and you know what? That primary was on there for over a year and didn’t leak a drop. I used Permatex Right Stuff and now that I know how to get it apart, might use Right Stuff again. But I did order gaskets for the cam-cover!
