'81 FLT Tour Glide Saddlebag Lid
Well, it finally happened. One of my saddlebag lids (right side) came off the other day while zooming down the road, and, well, it's gone. Guess I should have done that pinning project before now.
So, of course, I've searched everywhere on the web for a replacement, and apparently, there are none (new or used).
My question is, will other, later model lids fit? I see a lot for 83 and up, but they look a "little" different. Has anyone done this? I can't be the first to lose one of these.
BTW, if you have one laying around, ........

would have thought by now that everyone knew about "pinning" or even safety wiring saddlebag lids!!!
Who did you get that from????? Not someone who Knew either huh??

I used to collect them on Poker Runs .... they were common to find ... not so anymore ... yep, a clevis pin can be a life er I mean lid saver
