I just checked and both of the Slash cut Muffs here have that -78 number....

Nope...my error, the part number for the slash cut is the one you listed. My slash cut on my 78-1/2 FXE is the same as yours.

I now have heat shields for front and rear pipes, plus chrome clamps on the muffler inlets.
