you can back off on the springs till it the clutch slips then make It tighter

thanks i was going to start by half a turn on each nut.would push prod adjustment then be needed

the push rod is not affected BUT it needs to be correct for the mechanical advantage of the set up

a mate lubed the cable as he said it was dry. he also said put some white grease on the lever swivel pin.whats the difference to normal grease. is it suitable. thanks

White lithium is supposed to hold up a bit better for outdoors (exposed to water) use vs. an enclosed/contained use like wheel bearings, U-joints etc.

we use the 2 guy garage green grease - its also boat use fresh and salt water proof - white grease is old way and its time has passed

reinstalled the cable still hard to pull.my neighbour called in and hes got bikes,felt my clutch and said how can you ride this.i basically said i cant.one guy said back each spring nut off 1 turn.5 stud hub and said stock shovels dont need a lot of spring tension.he hated the 5 stud and said you will never get them to run tru and 2 nuts will always be loose.he also said take the 2 nuts off and run it as a 3 stud hub.his clutch is a 1 finger pull.wow what id do for that. any input would be appreciated
