Working on my 81 FXS. This weekend I picked up a bunch of parts including this springer front end. I've never run one before so I'm completely new, but always loved the look. From the research I've done, its a Jammer - so not an HD or Paughco, but apparently not as bad as some of the other Chinese junk. At any rate, how would I use it in my application? Do I thread risers on to the posts?
Nick
I am not familiar with that make, but looks like you are missing the fork stem and the top clamp. The top clamp would have the attachment point for handle bars. All I got, Jammer still exists, give their website a look at what a current one looks like. The Bay is your friend.
usually at like 3AM fri maybe sat a bunch of us would ride from staten island across the bridge up the belt parkway to coney island to the best hot dogs in NYC nathans famous
it was windy that night and the bridge expands in the middle at both ends of the top - well we were probably doing 70 when the 185 X16 front tire dropped into the expanse a bit the springer bottomed snapped the 12 inch stud and dented my original stahlhelm still have it actually
